Ensure that you disable automatic updates to prevent the installation of the new Vega OS. The new Amazon Vega OS, which is transitioning to a Linux-based operating system instead of Android, could potentially disrupt all your apps.

If your 🔥 FIRESTICKS 🔥 have been updated to VEGA OS, please note that this is not our responsibility, and we do not support this OS. Remember, I have been updating firestick clients throughout the year to upgrade to our new Google OS devices. I have even offered sales for better-priced upgrade opportunities. If you chose not to take advantage of these offers, the responsibility is yours.

Amazon has their devices restricted to their Market!

The sole service Amazon permits us to access is the My Cinema House Video Club.

The launch of Vega OS on Fire TV devices has brought about notable changes in app sideloading capabilities and IPTV content access. Here are the main points concerning the restrictions and blocks:

  • Vega OS is a Linux-based operating system that necessitates apps to be specifically designed for it, with downloads available only from the Amazon Appstore.

    1.

  • Amazon has prohibited the installation of 3rd apps on Fire TV devices, including those sideloaded from outside the Appstore.

    2.

  • The Fire TV Stick 4K Select is the first device to operate on Vega OS, with updates being deployed to block known piracy applications.

    3.

  • Users have noted that numerous third-party apps have ceased functioning on Fire TV devices due to the new OS, sparking concerns about device security and functionality.
